Aunt Millie’s donated nearly 61,000 loaves of Butter Top Wheat Bread to foodbanks throughout the Midwest this holiday season. The bread was delivered fresh for distribution to those in need. In all, Aunt Millie’s donated 60,816 loaves of bread – over 1,000 loaves per day. The retail value of the donation was $194,003.04.
“Aunt Millie’s has shown leadership in stepping up to the plate and giving of the heart,” said Mel Wright, Regional Product Sourcing Manager for the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan. “With commitments like yours we will one day defeat hunger. Thank you.”
Aunt Millie’s Sales Manager Pat Miller said, “This is such a great thing Aunt Millie's does every year. Thank you Aunt Millie's for blessing so many lives.” 
Other Aunt Millie’s employees echoed the sentiment. “I am so proud to work for such a caring company,” said Brenda Ratliff-Doerger, Receptionist at the Sidney Bakery. Route Sales Representative Chauncey McDermott said, “I received these (2400 loaves) in at the Columbus branch the other day and was proud to know these were going to the community. What a wonderful gesture by a great company!”
